Description
Living the Word: Cross+Gen Education – Revised Common Lectionary (2023-2024)
Explore God’s Word together in the classroom through the Revised Common Lectionary.
The Revised Common Lectionary is one of the most popular lectionaries in the world. A major strength of this calendar of Bible readings is its emphasis on celebrating the various seasons and festivals of the church (or liturgical) year.
This curriculum has a dual focus on the assigned Gospel reading and the church festival or season that Sunday falls within. Each lesson also includes at least one activity covering either the Old Testament or New Testament additional readings (first or second readings).
This digital product is available for the entire 2023-2024 program year (RCL Years A & B). Select Fall, Winter, Spring, or save by purchasing the Full Year! Be sure to download our free Cross+Gen Groupings Guide to help you divide into cross+generational small groups!

The extended lessons have been lengthened to have enough teaching material to cover two classes for those who want to use them in both weeks. Two other lessons are extended to cover multiple church festivals (Epiphany & Baptism of the Lord on 1/7/2024 and Palm Sunday & Holy Week on 3/24/2024).

I think they’re the easiest to use out anything that I’ve seen. I think that just about anybody can pick up a lesson and implement it. They suit us, and the teacher in me says “Good job!”
