Help Paul and Silas escape from jail by finding clues in four different hymns/praise songs! Unlike my other religious escape rooms, I have provided everything for you here except for the locks and boxes (which is why it’s a few dollars more). Very easy set up and instructions! But also very fun and challenging! For ages 4th grade and up. Should take around an hour depending on how much help you give. This was my favorite one to make so far – hopefully you all enjoy it! I was FINALLY able to do this with my 4th/5th grade group and had to provide a few hints – but they did it! I included a few pics as well 🙂
This is a pdf document.
If you’re curious as to the music used in this escape room here are the songs that will be incorporated into the puzzles (your group does not need to know the songs to solve them):
- Sweet Hour of Prayer (Thomas Salmon (1800-1854)
- “God be with You Till We Meet Again” (Jeremiah Rankin 1882)
2 praise songs
- “Amazing Grace” (My Chains are Gone) (old hymn but contemporary version)
- “Greatness of our God” (contemporary)
