Following this simple yet intentional once-a-week Advent story-telling plan, you can keep the Christmas story at the center of a busy holiday season!

Choose a time that works best for your family or group each week, share the story based on the Bible references listed in the plan, and reflect on the story together. This time can be brief or more in-depth depending on the group. Also included is a story-telling plan for the day of Epiphany plus 6 original illustrations that can be printed to use when telling the story and displayed for the holiday season. There is also a BONUS “Reflections, Desires, and Intentions for Advent” sheet to help you as you plan for the Advent season. 

You will receive these files to download:

– A simple one-page story-telling plan for Advent. This is a quick yet intentional plan to tell the Christmas story in 5 installments over the 4 weeks of Advent, ending on Christmas Day.

– A one page story-telling plan for Epiphany to guide you in telling the Epiphany story on January 6th or Epiphany Sunday.

– 6 beautiful illustrations (by illustrator @helloamyholt), printable in sizes 4×6 and 5×7 for use in Advent/Epiphany storytelling and holiday display. Illustration scenes include: The angel visiting Mary, Mary visiting Elizabeth, The Nativity, Angels visiting the Shepherds, the Shepherds visiting the Holy Family, and the 3 Magi traveling to visit Jesus. 

– A BONUS “Reflections, Desires, and Intentions for Advent” sheet to help you as you plan for the Advent season.
