God Loves U Kids resources create fun and meaningful experiences where kids can encounter God’s love and build the kind of faith that sticks. GLU recognizes that kids learn best through playing and creating, and therefore offers interactive, multisensory experiences instead of worksheets or lectures. Each resource is steeped in the message that God loves everyone and seeks to transform us, so we might transform the world with God’s love.

This one-hour session is designed to help kids of mixed elementary ages encounter Lent in an engaging and meaningful way, as they come to understand some of the theology behind the practices of Ash Wednesday. It includes time for learning, for receiving ashes (or mud if preferred), a responsive art activity, and a bonus game if there is extra time.
