The Beatitudes are at the beginning of Jesus’ most famous message, the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus opens this important sermon, not by stating his name or listing his credentials or even by thanking the audience for coming. He begins with a blessing.

In this sermon series, we will explore the beatitudes, the thesis statement of Christianity, verse by verse. By the end, you and your congregation will understand and embody these blessings in powerful new ways.

Included in your purchase is a call to worship, scripture, opening prayer, sermon slides, hymn suggestions, and scripture commentary for each week of the 4 week sermon series. There is also a template for your congregants to write their own beatitudes at the end of the sermon series.
