Introduce your church’s children to the Bible through this easy to understand and playful 6-part children’s message series. Children who attend church know that the Bible is important but their exposure to it and understanding of it may be sporadic. This series provides a broad overview of the different sections of the Bible and aims to lay a foundation they can build on in future years.

Written for preschool and elementary aged children, but instructive and inspiring for all ages!

The 6 weeks cover:

Introduction – Introduce some of the things we can know about the Bible with our heads and with our hearts. It might be tricky to understand sometimes, but we do it together and we do it with God.

Books of the Law – Explore how the first few books of the Bible are like a family tree, and why it’s important to know those stories.

History, Poetry & Prophets – This message uses a song from Disney’s Tangled to help kids understand the unsuccessful cycle that God’s people were in and what this section of the Bible helps us know about God and God’s people during that time.

Gospels – Celebrate how we have 4 different accounts of Jesus’ life and how we can use all the stories to know and understand Jesus (and wish we had more!)

Church History & Letters – What do Lego instruction booklets and these letters of the New Testament have in common? They are a roadmap, and sometimes it’s useful to follow them and sometimes it’s okay to veer off course to create new things.

Conclusion – Look back on what you’ve learned and celebrate how God’s Word can guide us.
