Use these templates to create an Advent Devotional written by your congregation on the theme: Why we gather.

We gather to celebrate, to learn, to combine our energy and share our gifts, we even gather to mourn and support one another. In our devotional book, we’d like you to share the story of a gathering that was memorable or meaningful in your life. It could be as simple as family dinners almost every night or as complex as a global consortium in your career field. You might tell the story of a high school reunion, a camp staff Christmas party, a regular Bible study group, or a Kiwanis breakfast – just remember the storytelling rule: “make me care.”
